Description

Thanks for attending TIIME2026 in Amsterdam!

The TIIME – Trust and Internet Identity Meeting Europe – facilitates the cooperation between innovative communities in various fields of trans-organizational trust and identity matters. TIIME 2026 was organised by Nikhef, DAASI, GEANT, and SURF, and kindly supported by NORDUnet and SCG Collaboration Group.

Join us for TIIME2027 in Karlsruhe (Germany), kindly hosted by the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie - dates March 1-5 2027 (to be confirmed).

You can download the notes from all unconference sessions and the OIDFederation Workshop at https://surfdrive.surf.nl/s/HccGjF8BnWMfMc7. The presentations are linked from the event time table, shown in the left-hand menu.

From Identity Management architecture and technology to policy, privacy and business, meet experts, learn concepts, tools and techniques and connect to the community.

Join in the discussion, exchange ideas, meet familiar faces, and get acquainted with new ones!

eduID plays a role in making education more flexible: students want more freedom to put together their own curriculum, both within and outside their own educational institution. With eduID, they can easily register for a subject or minor at other educational institutions. It also contributes to lifelong development because students can use their eduID to follow programmes and courses at institutions even after their studies. Finally, eduID makes it easier for institutions to give external parties, such as guest lecturers, researchers and external advisors, access to applications relevant to them with their eduID.

      Science Park 105

The Authentication and Authorisation for Research and Collaboration (AARC) initiative was first launched in May 2015 to address the increased need for federated access and for authentication and authorisation mechanisms by research and e-infrastructures.
Today a recognised baseline for research collaboration in Europe and the world, the community encompasses e-Infrastructures deploying AAI platforms, the AEGIS group, and working groups on architecture and policy. The AARC BPA has become a reference worldwide.

The AARC TREE project closes in February 2026, so take this opportunity to experience the latest AARC BluePrint Architectuire 2025, the new Policy Development Kit, and a brand-new Compendium!

OpenID Federation defines basic components to build multilateral federations. It also defines how to apply them in the contexts of OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0. These components can be used by other application protocols for the purpose of establishing trust. With the Federation specifciation almost complete, and implementation profiles evolving, take the next steps in this workshop!
