long-term monitoring of Gender Equality Plans

Gender equality in reserach participation is promoted by the European Commission as priority for Horizon 2020 and for the European Research Area.
Gender Equality Plans - GEPs for short - are the main tool chosen by the Commission to achieve the structure changes needed in research performing and research funding organisations.
The physics research community fosters the assumption of being gender neutral, however, the under-representation of women in physics research is a long-standing and persistent issue.

With this is mind, an international Consortium of Research Performing and Research Funding Organisations - RPOs and RFOs for short - have engaged in the H2020 GENERA project with the aim of continuing, monotoring and improving their Gender Equality Plans and customise them for physics. The project started in September 2015 and is now more than half-way its project life time.

New date and venue: 22+23 January 2018, London

Registration starts 15 September 2017

High time for a 1st international GENERA network meeting to exchange results and experience!
