Invitation and scope of the preparatory WP2 workshop

Invitation to: BGR members, BGR experts,
Following the WP2 presentation and BGR discussion in Pisa, WP2 now cordially invite all members of the BGR and the BGR experts to participate in the informative workshop in which BGR members, experts and ETPP will exchange information, views and preferences on the distinctive elements with an impact on the governance options for ET. The workshop builds on the WP2 discussion paper for BGR-7 (Pisa) and on the outputs of a jointly organised ETPP workshop of WP2 and WP3 in Warsaw, October 2024.
With this workshop, WP2 intends to explore the preferences of the participating BGR members, receive advice of BGR experts, and identify the dependencies and boundary conditions (e.g. geometry, site decision, other..).
This preparatory workshop aims to produce a paper, which will serve as a discussion starter for an internal BGR weighting process on the key elements, leading towards sufficient consensus on a preferred legal framework for ET.
The draft program for this workshop will be distributed in advance of the BGR-8 meeting and includes topics such as HR schemes, Procurement strategies, Tax exemptions and Financial models.
WP2 will present a follow-up on the Pisa-discussion and the outputs of this workshop at the upcoming BGR-9.
