Hotels in Amsterdam can be expensive, in particular in popular holiday weekends. In general, the closer to the city center, the more expensive the hotel, so we recommend to look beyond the city center.
Nikhef is located in the East of Amsterdam, and well reachable by public transport (train station Amsterdam Science Park and bus 40 from Amsterdam Amstel and Amsterdam Muiderpoort stations).
