Description
Baikal-GVD has been actively under construction since 2016 and continues to grow. The winter expedition of 2026 has brought its number of optical modules to 4900 and the nominal instrumented volume to 0.8 km$^3$. We briefly review the current detector status and some of its most recent results. We also discuss the currently achieved and expected sensitivity of Baikal-GVD physics analyses and how it compares to the other neutrino telescopes.
