EMERITUS&Farewell lecture Piet Mulders "the many faces of the Standard Model of particle physics"

As of June 2020 I will be emeritus at the University and on that occasion there is a farewell lecture on Friday May 29, 2020 entitled 'The many faces of the Standard Model of particle physics’ ‘Een andere kijk op de wereld’ adressing both physical and societal/educational aspects (partly in English, partly in Dutch). This lecture is scheduled at 3.45 p.m. in the Aula of de Vrije Universiteit (Amsterdam) and will be followed by a reception near the Aula. You are cordially invited for this open lecture and the reception afterwards. In order to arrange everything and keep you informed on further details concerning this farewell lecture, it would be nice if those who plan to attend the lecture could confirm this (from now on, but at latest May 15) by sending an email to the secretariat (Marja Herronen, m.e.herronen@vu.nl, with in subject ‘emeritaat Piet Mulders').
