Description
Abstract: The AMS (Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer) Experiment is a state-of-the-art particle physics experiment onboard the International Space Station. It is dedicated to measure precisely cosmic ray spectra; providing unique opportunities to search for Dark Matter, missing antimatter as well as to study cosmic rays in space. Since May 2011, it is continuously operational and up to date more than 100 billion of cosmic rays are detected, providing a wealth of data. After a brief description of the detector and its operation in space, the most recent results for the Dark Matter searches with subatomic particles as well as the measurements of nuclei will be presented.
