Description
The decay of B mesons can be systematically predicted within the Heavy Quark Expansion.
The leading term in the expansion corresponds to the decay of a free bottom quark,
while higher order corrections are suppressed by powers of 1/mb
In my talk I report on the calculation of higher order corrections to the free bottom quark
decay. This comprises N3LO corrections to the semileptonic decay and NNLO corrections 
to nonleptonic decays considering the four-quark operators O1 and O2.
In particular I will address several challenges that arise in the leptonic decays like the 
treatment of γ5 in dimensional regularization and the semi-analytic calculation 
of the master integrals and present updated predictions for the lifetimes of B mesons.
