ETMOST: Challenges on the design of the ET

Patrick Werneke (Nikhef) is head of the engineering department of ETO. Patrick will present the position of ETO, the activities of the engineering office and provide an overview of the engineering activities that happen at CERN.

This ETMOST online meeting is aimed at non-specialist information sharing on the science and technology activities in the EMR region. With updates on geology, R&D, GW science, etc, the online series will cover all relevant aspects for people involved in the Einstein Telescope activities in the EMR region. 

The meeting takes place once a month, on Wednesday afternoon between 16:00 – 17:00 hrs (sharp). The presentation can be no longer than 40 minutes, such that there is ample time for questions and discussions afterwards.
