Finesse 3 for Modeling Virgo

Finesse 3 is the new release for simulation of interferometers.

For Advanced Virgo Plus, several design and commissioning simulations were conducted using the previous release (Finesse 2).

Ideally, for the stable recycling cavities, we would use Finesse 3, but the transition can be challenging for users experienced with Finesse 2.

For this reason, a few members of the Finesse team will be visiting the Virgo site for a week to provide primarily technical assistance with simulations using Finesse 3 related to the stable recycling cavities for Advanced Virgo.
