Summary
For any experiment detailed knowledge of the detector response and the performance of the reconstruction algorithms is required. One of the parts in modeling this for XENONnT is the Waveform Simulator (WFSim) which takes quanta produced in the detector and simulates the corresponding PMT waveforms. I will, briefly, discus the steps needed in this process and the status of this software package
