Description

The third installment of my programming talk series will try to uncover some of the "magic" of conda environments and give some background on why we need these tools in the first place. If you ever asked yourself any of the following questions:

  • What even is a conda environment?
  • What is the difference between conda, anaconda, mamba, pip and pyenv?
  • When do I use conda and when do I use conda env?
  • What is conda-forge?
  • Why is my conda environment broken?

Then this talk may be for you!

I will upload the slides afterwards on surfdrive (also contains slides from the previous talks)
