"Supernova constraints on dark-flavor sectors"

Abstract:
Proto-neutron stars forming a few seconds after core-collapse supernovae are hot and dense environments where hyperons can be efficiently produced by weak processes. Thus, any ultra-light dark-sector
with non trivial flavor interactions with the SM (dark-flavor sectors) could be produced copiously in these supernova explosions. In my talk, I will introduce these types of models providing a theoretical motivation for them. Then, I will discuss the bound that can be obtained on their parameter space by using observations of SN 1987A and in complementary with the searches at laboratory experiments.
