Title: High-Energy Tails at the LHC and Flavor Physics
Abstract: High-energy distributions of two-to-two scattering processes
at the LHC are particularly sensitive probes to physics beyond the
Standard Model. In an Effective Field Theory setup, these distributions
can be correlated with flavor-violating processes in low-energy decays
of hadrons. I will review the interplay between these two seemingly
very different classes of observables, applying it, as examples, to
some hints for deviations from the Standard Model in B-meson decays.
