Room: H331 Abstract: Comparing data with theoretical predictions by means of Perturbative Field Theory requires the evaluation of large numbers of very complicated diagrams. This can only be done by automatizing nearly all stages of the calculation. This talk will start with a short historical overview, followed by a short incomplete inventory of action at the one loop level. The main part of the talk will be devoted to multi loop calculations and what are their ingredients. They span a wide range from computer science, via mathematics to physics, regularly inspiring new ideas in all these fields. This is explained at a rather fundamental level.
